Your January Newsletter from the GCA

Thank you for those that have renewed your GCA 2024 Membership - Your Membership Packet with your GCA Membership Certificate has been mailed.   Invoices were emailed beginning mid-December, if do not recall receiving your invoice, please email Susan to resend with your preferred email address.

CEMETERY MEMBERS - All current (2024) cemetery locations will be updated on the GCA website next week in the "Locate a Cemetery" section - used often by consumers searching for a cemetery in their area.  A valuable benefit and great advertisement built in to your GCA membership - make sure your 2024 membership dues are paid to be in the GCA consumer search engine!

SUPPLIER MEMBERS -  All current (2024) suppliers will be updated next week and listed in the "Preferred Supplier" area of the GCA Website, complete with your logo, phone, email contacts and website links.  Our GCA members are encouraged to use GCA supplier members - visit the supplier membership area to review other benefits.  Current members - please also visit the "Preferred Supplier" (use the "View All" gray block link on the left side of the home page) and make sure we have your listing as you would like (your logo, current company rep and contact info)  Please call the office at 770-490-6810 for any changes or email Susan

REMINDER FROM THE   -  GA SECRETARY OF STATES OFFICE - Corporations Division

Georgia Corporation Licenses are now due.  You should have received a reminder email regarding your Corporation Business License with instructions on renewing - Renewing time frame is noted from Jan 1 - April 1, 2024.  If you need assistance or did not receive the email with instructions, for assistance, please reach out to the Georgia Corporation Division

Convention 2024  ~  Focus on the Family  ~  July 15-17

Now don't you wish you were here?  Especially during this cold weather we are having now.  Well you don't need to dream or wish you were at the beautiful oceanfront Westin Hilton Head Resort - Plan now and start counting the days!  Registration forms, Exhibitor forms and Hotel room block information can be accessed through this   2024 Convention Link

This convention is being co-hosted by 6 associations,  The Georgia, Kentucky, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee Cemetery Associations as well as our regional association - The Southern (SCCFA)  It is anticipated that 60 Exhibiting companies will fill the ballroom along with a schedule with great topics being presented by some of the best speakers in our profession.  The schedule will be posted on the website soon, as speaker confirmations are in the final stage.
